THIS FOLKS IS WHATS MESSED UP ABOUT AMERICA

  • THIS IS THE OFFENDING ARTICLE BELOW MY COMMENTS. I FIND THIS OFFENSIVE AS A CITIZEN AND A VOTER SO I THOUGHT I WOULD COMMENT ON IT. THIS IS WHAT THE ELECTION IS ALL ABOUT. RIDDING OUR NATION OF THESE CYNICAL PRESENCES AND RESTORING OUR COUNTRY TO A PATH OF COMPASSION AND STRENGTH.
Well, you can always put some lipstick on yourself. Really, McCain is so blatantly cynically manipulative that it's obvious t the entire world. Bush got away with it because too many people were gullible, dumb, or cynical. Palin is so incredibly ignorant it's beyond ludicrour. Even Republican leaders say she makes them cringe. Each day any time she opens her mouth it's a disgrace. The latest today not even being able to cite one Supreme Court case besides Rowe v. Wade and then doing a Miss Teen South Carolina response for about the 10th tie, coinciding with anything spontaneous. It's an insult to the american people. She isn't qualified to be PTA president and Mccain thinks she should be the president if/when he dies possibly, maybe even probably, in office considering his age and how many bouts with skin cancer. How dare you think you can plot and connive and get another moron in there..and to what end. It's people like you that caused most of us to be in a horrible situation.

  • The election was settled fairly. You mean Florida where the votes were thrown out and other people couldn't vote? You mean a rigged 5-4 Supreme Court vote? you mean Ohio, the other states where Republicans cooked the books, purged voter rolls, closed polls with people waiting to vote? Come on. And then you did all this for...Ta-da...George Bush, senseless war, Katrina nothingness, trillion dollar debts for us and our kids after record surpluses, take any helpful program away from people but give oil companies $10 billion annual profits and tax breaks; deny Global Warming and tell EPA officials to lie about it AND THE ECONOMIC MELTDOWN OF THE CENTURY...Aw man, it's too much garbage. Youre through Soup Nazis...Your Bush screwed up everything so much, this is what you get.

I got this article and the picture from JBrooks.  I think he's on to something here!  What do ya'll think?

If John McCain wants to win this election he should immediately cease campaigning against Obama and start campaigning against the United States Congress.

Nobody likes Congress.  Most people like their own Congresscrook and maybe a Senator or two but they don't like the rest of them.  YADA YADA YADA..,

McCain finds it hard to blame Obama for anything because, let's face it,

SWIFTBOAT LIES, LIE LIES, IRRELEVANT APPLES AND ORANGES LIES

Obama has never done anything except for the standard crooked Chicago politician shtick and wandering around in the liberal desert somewhere to the left of John Kerryville.

McCain should basically say Congress has been screwing the American public but if you elect me,

YEAH THE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS FROM 1995 TO 2006 THAT DEREGULATED EVERYTHNG AND DID NOTHING ELSE AND EVEN TRIED TO (HYPOCRITICALLY) IMPEACH CLINTON FOR ORAL SEX...OH YEAH, BUT DELAY, CUNNINGHAM, STEVENS ET AL HAVE BEEN BROUGHT UP ON PUBLIC CORRUPTION AND EVEN TRAITORISM...THST CONGRESS?

my number one mandate will be the screw Congress on your behalf, repeatedly. He should have a "Veto Special" ballpoint pen made big enoughYAD YADA the side that says "Lubricated with Ben-Gay".

McCain should immediately call for the resignat YADA YADA YADA ...ything from the rising cost of gasoline to Lindsay Lohan becoming a lesbian.

yada yada why bother???

He should make Obama defend the Democrats in Congress in that they have a record and he doesn't. Obama can't run against Congress. He should tie the election of Obama to a continuation of the failed Congressional record. It also gives him the opportunity to tie Bush to the Democrat’s failed bailout thereby nullifying any further Obama ranting about his being a continuation of the "failed Bush policies".

If McCain does this, he wins and he wins MAYBE WHINES easily.

MCCAIN WOULD ONLY WIN IF THEY PRODUCE BIN LADEN OR SOME OTHER EVENT OCCURS THAT IS A CATASTROPHE...

  • Perhaps we should send this to his campaign headquarters! LOL

  • The difference between mccain, the repubs and real people is they are cynical tools who just look at all this as a game they need to win rather than as an opportunity to do what right for people. This is more of the same. They elected Bush. They screwed up this country. Now, they're trying to say it wasn't their fault and want us to vote for them again -- of course, they didn't actually win in 2000 --. So we get palin, faux leadership, lies. They're pigs basically. Good luck with trying to steal the election this time.

  • Well thank you very much for calling me a pig, but to be honest with you, I'd rather be a pig than live in a society where I have to give the money I work hard for to people who are too lazy to work for their own money.....just sayin......and if you had the least bit knowledge of the Constitution, you would understand how the electoral works and know damned well that no matter how much you whine the election was decided completely fairly.

  • Re: "you would wonder how the electoral works" How does the "electoral" work. No wonder you like Palin. You're as ignorant as she is.

  • frnaklinfong - thank you for your article. Articles like the above offending one have made me wonder whether or not to even post to this site. The misinformation and lack of research and knowledge just about put me over the edge - the worst part is maybe she believes the crap she spews. I appreciate your taking the time although I doubt it will make this woman with so much time on her hands spend any more of it doing research or thinking first about what comes from her keyboard. Oh and she is for John McCain - you all are just a bunch of fans of Obama's...

  • Ditto for me as for Margaret. Is it fun to run on and on (and on and on) with this hatespeak, Lori? I appreciate Franklin's efforts to actually respond to Lori's "points" (and I use the term lightly), but I fear that Margaret is right - she's not interested in truth or actually history. And I'm very relieved to see a different, more rational viewpoint emerge on this site.

  • All of you make me smile - you are proof that we live in a country which values the right to freely speak what one truly feels :) Just an added opinion here: I hope, if McCain is elected, that he lives out his full term. Do voters realize that the VP is the Presiden't back-up, stand-in, take-place, etc? People forget that she could very well be the leader of our country, and not what most Americans view the VP as: only the "right-hand-man" of the President (or so to speak). Doesn't that worry anyone? Hell, Cartman for President, people! Ok, rant over (smile).
